About us.

Mushtaraka has completed 40 years of services in the P&I field in particular, and the Maritime industry in general. We started in Saudi Arabia, expanding to Sudan, Iraq, Yemen Somalia, Eritrea, and UAE. We are currently working on expansion to Oman, possibly to Tanzania and Kenya. We have gained more listings from the P&I clubs in all of the Saudi Ports. Also being listed by several P&I clubs in all the areas in which we operate, with the expectation of more to come in the near future.

​The Group run by highly qualified local and international staff. The Group main business is the management of marine claims. Mustharaka is either acting on behalf of shipowners like Hapag-Lloyd, NYK-Line, UACC, Emarat Maritime, Orion Reederei and many others,  or nominated by “Blue Chip” 3rd party liability insurers like China P&I Club, Korea P&I Club, Britannia P&I, Gard, North, British Marine, Hanseatic P&I and many others. 

​As you know the P&I commercial correspondents' role has changed in recent years. In Mushtaraka we have taken on a great deal more roles and additional responsibilities such as providing legal advice, putting up security to local parties, control and contracting on behalf of the Clubs and the Owners for the repairs of the damages caused by ships. It includes everything from crew and passenger illness, injury, or death, stowaway repatriation, damage to cargo, collisions with other ships, damage to tugs, oil pollution or other contamination, and damage caused by ship grounding (eg damage to coral reef), salvage, wreck removal.  Also, keeping abreast of international rules and regulations concerning sanctions issues, money laundering, and compliance no doubt all of such tasks places additional burdens on our team to maintain the quality of the brand which we have continued to maintain for the last 40 years.

Our expansion went hand in hand with diversification. Gradually al Mushtaraka entered into the AGENCY and RISK MANAGEMENT business. Insurers, Ship & Yacht Owners and Charterers gave us their confidence.

Several of the services which we provide cross boundaries between pure marine claims management, ship agency type services, medical related services, marine survey and inspection, Risk Management, Sanctions–Compliance and Due Diligence.  

Our network includes several high qualified specialists in the listed countries ready to assist with investigations on cause, nature and extent of cargo damage, liability and recovery of claims.
